Description
The sturcture of cylindrical block type graphite condenser is same as cylindrical block type graphite heat exchanger but added a gas-liquid separator on the bottom, it composed of one or several graphite heat exchange blocks with drilling holes, graphite end-heads, steel shells and cover plates. Each parts are sealed with PTFE / graphite gaskets. Top end fasten with long bolts and spring pre-load as automatic compensation mechanism for thermal expansion and contraction. Installation with vertical and horizonal type.
Cylindrical block type graphite condense canbe special designed for various applications. Suitable components should be assembled depending on charactor of specific process/working medium and working area. The shell material canbe use with mild steel, stailess steel, PTFE lined steel, glass lined steel, precious metal, alloy metal according to the requiements of anti-corroson & working temperature.
The material of sealing gasket between each graphite block canbe select of PTFE or PTFE CUV. modified graphite or FKM.
Artificial graphite is mainly used in heat exchanger materials. Artificial graphite is porous, the porosity is generally 20% - 30%, and most of them are porous, and have strong permeability to gas and liquid. Artificial graphite must be treated by impermeability, that is, the impermeable graphite block is obtained by impregnation, pressing and pouring.
